A Look Back at 2025

As the year winds down, I’ve found myself reflecting on the moments that shaped our family, our rhythms, and the work I’m grateful to do. It wasn’t a simple year, but it was a meaningful one, and I can see God’s steady faithfulness woven through all of it.
On the personal side, much of our year centered around navigating health challenges for our oldest. We walked through some difficult stretches, including his first surgery after a jigsaw accident. It was the first time any of our kids had undergone surgery, and even though it was hard, I’m grateful for the care he received and the strength he showed.
We were also grateful for some really bright moments. For our younger son’s fifteenth birthday, we traveled as a family and visited three national parks in Florida. It was the first time the kids had ever flown, and exploring the parks together, especially the Everglades, became one of those memories we will carry with us for a long time. Both boys also started new schools this year, and watching them settle in, find their footing, and truly thrive has been one of the biggest blessings of the year.
Summer was full in the best way. I spent a lot of time volunteering with our daughter’s swim team, and when she and the boys went away to camp with my husband, I found myself home alone for five days for the first time ever. I used the quiet to reorganize the garage as a surprise, and for the first time in years we can actually park in there. It still makes me smile every time we pull in.
Professionally, this was a year of building and beginning again. I stepped forward as a solo agent and had the privilege of helping wonderful clients, all of whom were referrals from friends, family, or past clients. Staying at one hundred percent referral is something I do not take for granted. It is a trust I feel deeply, and it is the kind of business I have always wanted to build.
Behind the scenes, I spent a lot of time strengthening the systems that support that experience. I refined my processes, organized my Studio tools, developed clearer workflows, and launched my new website and the Insights blog. My goal has always been to offer a calm, thoughtful, and elevated experience, and this year felt like a meaningful step in that direction.
Looking ahead to 2026, I am excited for what is taking shape. Some of my favorite community events will be returning, along with a few new ones I have been quietly planning. Creating spaces for people to gather, connect, and feel known has become one of the most meaningful parts of this work. My hope for the new year is simple: more peace, more steadiness, and more room for the things that matter most. I am grateful for the support, the friendships, the referrals, and the quiet encouragement that carried me through this year. Your trust means more than you know.
Wishing you a peaceful close to the year and a hopeful beginning to the next.
